B.S. Fire & Emergency Response Administration | ONLINE OR HYBRID
Learn to Lead on the Front Lines
MSU Denver’s Fire and Emergency Response Administration program prepares first responders and aspiring emergency services professionals for the leadership roles that keep communities safe. Along with the practical aspects of emergency response administration, the program helps students develop the management skills that separate good firefighters from great officers.
MSU Denver is the only four-year university in Colorado recognized by the National Fire Academy’s Fire and Emergency Services Higher Education (FESHE) network, and one of only a few in the country. Every FESHE course you complete comes with a National Fire Academy certificate, and your degree is built on a nationally standardized curriculum backed by the National Fire Protection Association and International Association of Fire Chiefs.
Gain hands-on experience through service learning opportunities, ride-alongs with the Denver Fire Department, and field exercises with community partners like the American Red Cross.
Learn from faculty who are actively shaping how the fire service approaches leadership development, backed by decades of experience.
Choose to complete the degree fully online, so you can balance coursework with a full-time role in fire service or another field.
MSU Denver’s Career Connected Campus designation means your education is designed around real careers, and we have robust resources to help you pursue them.
Colorado residents pay as little as $315/credit, and online students may qualify for up to $1,000/semester in scholarships.
